Since its inauguration in the United States in 2016, Energy Efficiency Day (EE Day) has gained momentum and visibility thanks to the efforts of several organizations. Now, Canada is promoting energy efficiency with a collaborative effort between five organizations and advocates. AEEGTA, AESP Ontario Chapter, StepUp, Efficiency Canada and CIET are coming together to host this year’s flagship EE Day event.

Energy efficiency is not only the most cost-effective solution to meet our energy demands, but it is also the quickest way to reduce operational costs and achieve greenhouse gas emission reductions. In addition, Energy Efficiency as a sector is also an economic engine that is rapidly growing and offering lucrative opportunities in the commercial, institutional, and residential sectors. By investing in energy efficiency, we can create a brighter future for ourselves and for generations to come.
