This spring, StepUp is launching a Canada-wide Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Baseline Study to understand the current status of EDI in Canada’s energy management sector, and we need your input!  

This independent study will explore:  

• what the current representation and level of inclusion of women and under-represented groups is in the energy management sector based on staffing position, tenure, type or organization, geographical regions, etc. ; 

• what the impact of COVID-19 is on women and under-represented groups; and

• sentiments of employees in the sector regarding their organization’s EDI objectives, established policies, public commitments, etc. 

In early Summer 2022, our independent consultant (Diversio) will release a public report outlining the aggregate findings of the study, disaggregated by sub-sector and regions and include recommended actions and goals that can be set for the energy management sector-at-large based on best practices and other leading Canadian industries.
